Adapted decision support for increased energy efficiency in value chains
Research Project, 2016 – 2018

In this research project SP, IVL, SLC, Vattenfall, Akzo Nobel, Volvo Cars and Volvo Group collaborate with the aim of facilitating for the various functions of a company to contribute to increased energy efficiency in a life cycle perspective. Through mappings and case studies, different departments’ understanding and use of life cycle related energy data is analyzed. The goal is to develop recommendations on how support systems and / or decision-making can be better adapted to potential users in house, in order to increase both opportunities and incentives to enhance energy efficiency along the value chain. The Energy Agency considers that the Project has a significant potential to contribute to more energy efficient value chains.
