Swedish Centre for Biomass Gasification Phase 3
Research Project, 2017
– 2021
Swedish Centre for Biomass Gasification (SFC) is a national platform for research, development and post graduate education in the field of gasification of renewable resources. SFC consists of three independent research nodes that focus the research on one specific technology, where industrial interests exist.
One of SFCs main goal is to further develop and improve the efficiencies of gasification processes, gas cleaning and conditioning. In this third phase of SFC, research will essentially continue according to the long-term strategy that was developed at the start of the center in 2011. There are a large number of common and general research issues between the three nodes, in which the nodes will interact and share experiences around. To generate new knowledge, improve technology processes and increase the industrial knowledge, the nodes within SFC will carry out comprehensive, resource efficient research, development and education in the field of gasification of renewable resource.
