South Africa - Sweden Bilateral Scientific Reaserch Cooperation Programme
Research Project, 2017 – 2020

The aim of the Joint South Africa-Sweden Research Collaboration programme is to strengthen Swedish research and higher education by developing and establishing international partner-ships. The programme supports projects of high scientific quality which are clearly contrib-uting to the activities of participating educational establishments. The programme is jointly funded by STINT, the Swedish Research Council (VR) and the Research Councils Formas and Forte on the Swedish side and the National Research Foundation on the South African side.
Projects may last for up to three years. Applicants should be employed by and active at a university in Sweden and have obtained their PhD. The proposed project must encompass at least one Swedish and South African party.
