ClimaDye 2: Sustainable water-free dyeing of biofibres
Research Project, 2018

Traditional water-based textile dyeing causes pollution and uses large amounts of energy. The textile industry and its wastewaters is one of the main sources of severe pollution worldwide. Also, production of cotton and synthetic fabrics is still largely unsustainable and alternatives need to be actively pursued.

This project aims at creating a process for sustainable dyeing of cotton and other biofibers.
