Reducing N2O emissions during NH3-SCR over Cu-exchanged zeolites
Research Project, 2019 – 2022

The objective of the project is to increase the understanding of the selectivity in the NH3-SCR reaction with the aim to reduce and ultimately prevent formation of N2O. The current limited knowledge on factors governing the selectivity to N2O limits the progress in developing strategies for emission control systems with efficient N2O removal. In addition, a more selective SCR-catalyst will allow for an increased fuel efficiency during the diesel combustion, thus, reducing CO2 emissions.
