Communication-assisted protection in converter dominated medium-voltage microgrids

The aim of this work package is to provide funding for a new PostDoc position. In particular, the aim
of the project is to investigate, propose and verify an effective and cost-efficient fault-protection
strategy to minimize the need to over-dimension the converters in a medium voltage microgrid
system utilizing digital communication technology.
