Communication-assisted protection in converter dominated medium-voltage microgrids, part 2
Research Project , 2020 –

The aim of this work package is to provide funding for a new Post doctoral position in the area of digital microgrids. In particular, the aim of the project is to investigate, propose and verify an effective and cost-efficient fault-protection strategy to minimize the need to over-dimension the converters in a medium voltage microgrid system utilizing digital communication technology. The PostDoc working in this project is Rabindra Mohanty, who is expected to work on the
project until 2020-07-31.
