Comparing agent-based models with optimization models

The aim of this project is first to develop an agent-based model of the electricity system to analyze the transition towards a 100 percent renewable electricity system. The results will then be compared to results obtained using optimization models (the GET-model developed at Physical resource theory and other models). The pros and cons of the two different modelling approaches will be critically assessed.
