Platform for analysis and modeling of future traffic systems
Research Project, 2019 – 2022

The automotive industry is facing a paradigm shift as a result of the automation and electrification of vehicles now taking place around the world. At the same time, there is a change in attitude among travelers where the trend shows that more and more people will prioritize time efficiency and mobility over ownership.
Furthermore, the transport sector represents a large part of the world's total energy consumption and there is no indication that the need for transport will decrease in the future. To meet both the transport needs of the future and climate challenges, new innovative mobility solutions were needed, and an opportunity to study these in an overall simulation environment.
