Data Driven UX
Research Project, 2019 – 2021

By analyzing multiple car signals regarding traffic context, driver activities, and function usage (PA and ACC) it is possible to not only understand the frequency, location and timing of usage of functions but also to state hypotheses about the reason for a certain usage. By analyzing car data over the last 3 years driver has been categorized in different usage groups and findings has been validated with qualitative data gathering with users from each group. In a second step, historical data and real-time data will be used to make drivers use studied functions in a extended and more correct  way.  The FFI financed research project is carried out in cooperation with Volvo Cars
