Components for Quantum Computers
Research Project , 2019 – 2021

Purpose and goal: To demonstrate a low-noise transistor-based microwave amplifier dissipating less than 0.1 mW tailored for a quantum computer system. Expected results and effects: The project will result in a prototype amplifier module which will give the necessary knowledge and technology for decisions on future production and commercialization. A successful project result and utilization has high potential for the international quantum computing market. Approach and implementation: The two partners have divided the project in 5 work packages: WP1 Quantum HEMT development WP2 Quantum LNA Design WP3 Quantum LNA Fabrication WP4 Module Prototyping WP5 Test Qubit Readout
