The aim of the D-RAIL project is to decrease the number of derailments and consequences of remaining derailments. The current project concerns the role of scientific and technical coordinator of the project. Basically this role implies a responsibility for quality assurance of reports etc. This gives the possibility to obtain a superior overview of the project without getting too much involved in administrative tasks. The knowledge gained will be of use for Swedish research and industry.
