Evaluation of the "Nyström" engine

The project aims to experimentally evaluate the "Nystrom engine" (an engine with offset between piston pin and crankshaft). The concept have been developed by Rune Nystrom and Kenneth Eriksson. A SAAB 2.3 L turbocharged gasoline engine Fam III have been converted according to the Nystrom concept will be tested in an engine test cell and the results will be compared with the corresponding production engine.
