NoRisk2Bike
Research Project, 2015

The aim of the project is to develop a methodology for estimating the risk of accidents for cyclists for 1) different types of cyclists (commuters, touring, etc.), 2 ) over various time periods (hours, days, etc.) , and 3) different geographical locations (in the Gothenburg area). The project will combine naturalistic data from the BikeSafe/e-BikeSafe available at SAFER, STRADA data, if data (insurance companies ), and exposure data from various monitoring stations Göteborg. By combining different data sources, this project will demonstrate how it is possible to obtain new results and insights that individual data sources cannot provide.
