Master 4.0 -A national education initiative for Industry 4.0
Research Project, 2020 – 2021

Purpose and goal: The aim is to increase Swedish competitiveness by creating a national education package within Industry 4.0 "Cyber-physical production systems and connected industry", common to Swedish universities and industry. Expected results and effects: This project aims to give universities and industry access to master´s degree courses and programs in absolute top class so that Sweden can maintain its strong position for the manufacturing industry while introducing the latest technology and attracting new student groups. Approach and implementation: In practice, the education will be presented using "Blended learning methodology" there Various training platforms for on-line training are combined with classroom activities and hands-on labs to a significant extent. Initially, 11 key "Course Areas" have been identified and a host University will be responsible for implementation with partner Universities and industry partners. The program is led by the project leader with an advisory group, as support with representatives from the Swedish Production Academy, Industry and Production2030.
