Gothenburg 2010, A Workshop on Numerical Ship Hydrodynamics
Report, 2010

The Gothenburg 2010 Workshop on Numerical Ship Hydrodynamics was held in Gothenburg on 8-10 December, 2010. It was the sixth in a series of workshops held alternatively in Gothenburg and Tokyo since 1980. The purpose has been to assess the performance of contemporary CFD codes used in hydrodynamics. In the present workshop three hulls of different types were used and 18 test cases using these hulls were specified by the organizers. 33 groups carried out computations for one or more cases and reported the results to the organizers who compiled the results. The present Volume II of the Proceedings contains a description of the hulls and test cases, the complete set of computed results and the papers on the computations submitted by each group. Volume I, published after the workshop, contains an introduction to the series of workshops, reviews of the submitted results written by the organizers and a summary of discussions at the workshop. There is also CD containing detailed information about each of the participating methods.
