Experimental Characterization of a Phase-Sensitive Four-Mode Fiber-Optic Parametric Amplifier
Paper in proceeding, 2012

Four-mode phase-sensitive amplification is experimentally introduced for the first time. In a proof-of-principle realization using a dual-pump fiber-optic parametric amplifier we achieve nearly 20-dB gain. The influence of the individual phases of the six interacting waves on the signal gain is investigated.
