The DEVICE Project: Development of Educational Programs with a Specific Focus on Design for Children

This paper describes the aim and preliminary results obtained during the first year of “DEVICE: DEsign for Vulnerable generatIons- Children and Elderly” project. The aim of the project is to develop new educational programs for students and professional with a specific focus on designing for vulnerable generations mainly children and elderly, and it is here focused on children. The paper describes the methodology and results of the state of the art and training needs analysis undertaken within the project. Preliminary results consist of a training needs list that will be the basis for the development of modules for teaching.
