The European market for glazed solar collectors has increased from 0.3 million m² in end 80's to close
to 2 million m² or 1,4 GWth in 2005. The market increase is mainly related to specific actions in a few
countries that may be followed by others. The positive market development has introduced industrial
development and European standards, as well as a small but growing manufacturing industry.
