This invention is a safe stop master, that enables the self-driving vehicle to safely perform a blind safe stop by calculating the maximum allowed vehicle speed to not deviate to much from an intended path.

The invention solves the problem that the vehicle risks to departure the road if a severe fault occurs that includes that environmental sensors don’t work.
