Assessment of a new class of implicit integration schemes for a cone-cap plasticity model

A generalization of the closest point projection algorithm is developed for the integration of constitutive relations in incremental elastic-plastic theory. The algorithm is applied to a two-invariant cone-cap model and treats corner solutions in a straight-forward manner.
