LÉNÁRD PÁL - HIS TIME, HIS PROFESSIONAL LIFE, AND REMINISCENCES OF A COLLABORATION
Paper in proceeding, 2021

This paper is presented as an introductory talk at the special session organised in honour of the late Prof. Lénárd Pál, the founder of the framework of stochastic neutron transport theory. Its purpose is to give a frame to the session through recalling briefly his professional life, his achievements as a scientist as well as scientific leader and policy maker in various high-level positions, and last but not least, our collaboration in the past nearly twenty years. This latter part is mixed with personal reminiscences, as well as some details and curiosities which were not published elsewhere.
