With the development of photovoltaics, energy storage, new building materials and prefabricated construction industry, Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) technology which features the integrated design and manufacturing of photovoltaic modules with components such as roofs, walls and sunshades is evolving as Building Integrated Photovoltaic and Energy Storage (BIPVES) technology.
