Strategies for enhancing low-temperature activity

This review summarises catalyst-based strategies and techniques for efficient control of automotive emissions with focus on methods that increase the catalytic activity at low temperatures. Technical solutions, which more indirectly improve the function of the catalyst, are briefly discussed.
