Mechatronic Systems with Magnetostrictive Electric Generators

The proposed paper is in the field of application of giant magnetostrictive materials for power harvesting from vibration. The inverse dynamics based approach for modeling of performance of magnetostrictive electric generator as a power harvesting device is described. The novel generator was built and the experimental results of its performance are presented.
