The aim of the study is to provide a thorough description of the installations covered by the The European Union Emission Trading Scheme (EU ETS). By combining and analyzing data on verified emissions, technical and economical characteristics on sector and installation level, this study assesses the current trends in CO2 emissions from the heavy industry and energy sector within the EU ETS domain.
