Charakteristische Empfindungen bei sinusförmigen Ganzkörpervibrationen
Paper in proceeding, 2010

There are many situations were the human body is exposed to vibration, till example in vehicles and buildings. There has been done a lot of work about comfort and health risks. When listening to people who are exposed to whole body vibration, it is noticible that the perception of vibration is discribed differently for different frequency regions. There are a lot of words which can be used to describe the different perceptions. The goal of this exploration are the different perceptions of whole body vibrations, depending on the excitation frequency. To achieve this two kinds of experiments were done. In the first experiment definitions for the observed perceptions were collected. In the second experiment the value for these definitions was evaluated for characterizing frequencys.
