Students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to study

This study aims to explore the correlation of students' intrinsic and extrinsic goal motivation to their grades, using a subset of the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire. Results show that extrinsic motivation does not linearly correlate with test performance when it comes to analytical tasks.
