This paper investigates ICT use among Swedish industry operators in six companies representing both manufacturing and mining industry. It was concluded that the availability and usage of these tools is lower in industry than at leisure time. Many operators saw possible benefits with having more ICT tools available in their work. The results suggest both efficiency and economical gains through an increased usage of ICT tools.
