Terahertz Spectroscopy Instrumentation for Thermal Bio-Mass Conversion

THz spectroscopy appears to be a valuable tool for gas sensing in “complicated” environments where conventional IR techniques may not be able to work: high dust and particle concentrations. We also observe that existing spectral data basis and gas line models have to be updated for specific conditions in combustion and gasification processes.
