Drift av smarta laddstationer i en era av dubbelriktad V2G-laddning
Forskningsprojekt, 2025
This project addresses the operational problem of large public charging stations in the era of vehicle-to-grid (V2G). The aim is to mitigate the challenges posed by uncoordinated electric vehicle (EV) charging and increased grid stress. The project develops a smart charging scheduling method that reduces peak grid loads, thereby promoting more effectively the integrations of transport and energy sectors. Focused on large public facilities, the project will serve city authorities by balancing grid loads, enhancing energy efficiency and offering economic benefits to EV owners. Such strategies can provide charging station operators with an automated, adaptive, and resilient management system. Expected outcomes include the development of an optimization model for bidirectional charging scheduling, with results to be shared through scientific publications. This initiative promises significant benefits for transport infrastructure electrification, contributing to the broader green transition in transport systems.
