Experimental Characterization of the Phase Squeezing Properties of a Phase-Sensitive Parametric Amplifier in Non-Degenerate Idler Configuration

We experimentally investigate the phase squeezing properties of a phase-sensitive parametric amplifier by measuring the input and output signal phase with a coherent receiver. The reduction in phase variation is found to be proportional to the PSA gain.
