Industrial Challenges in Semantics

This document reports on the outcome of consultations with our colleagues in industry, with the aim of identifying critical areas where programming language research can make a contribution. We asked each person, If you could supply a list of problems for Europe's programming language researchers to work on, what would it be? Their responses were broadly in agreement, so it is with some confidence that we identify the critical areas described in this document.
