Statistical analysis of avalanching in simulations of flux driven toroidal plasmas

A statistical analysis of avalanching in flux driven gyrokinetic simulations of tokamak plasmas is shown. The results show the time-evolution and relaxation of the PDFs of heat flux just before, during and after the avalanche. Furthermore the relative importance of single events are estimated.
