Dispersion map optimization for nonlinearity mitigation in two-span phase-sensitive amplifier links

The first investigation of dispersion map optimization in two-span PSA-amplified links is presented. We show numerically and experimentally, that the nonlinearity mitigation improves by 1.4 dB if different dispersion maps are applied in each span, compared to single-span optimized maps.
