Renaissance for Time Data Management

To have correct and up-to-date time bases is becoming more important with digitalization. Manual or semi-automatic work tasks will remain important for many industries and therefore is Time Data Management (TDM), i.e. how to determine, use, and revise time data a future vital competence. In the TIMEBLY project, has a present state analysis model been developed and used as a first step towards a modern design methodology for TDM systems. The analysis of four different manufacturing companies shows that there is a great difference in the maturity of their present TDM systems, and consequently a TDM maturity model is proposed.
