Dielectric materials

In this chapter, we review the main materials for all-dielectric nanophotonics, including various metal-oxides, standard semiconductors (II-VI and III-V), 2D materials (transition-metal dichalcogenides), and halide perovskites. We focus on their linear and nonlinear responses as well as discuss their structural properties. This part can be useful for those who would like to design novel advanced all-dielectric nanophotonic structures for a broad range of applications.
