Moving towards TRL 3 Intercooling Integration for Hydrogen Fueled Aircraft
Övrigt konferensbidrag, 2024

Hydrogen, when utilised as an aviation fuel, presents several advantages over kerosene. These benefits include emission-free combustion, a higher energy density per unit of weight, and an increased heat capacity. The most significant advantage is its carbon emission-free combustion, which makes it a promising option for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the aviation sector. In light of the European Union's (EU) ambitious targets, such as the European Green Deal and the Fit for 55 policy packages, set forth by organisations like ACARE, it is crucial to identify viable pathways towards a more sustainable economy.
