Corporate boards and top management are ultimately responsible for a firm's success as they take the primary strategic decisions for the firm. Unfortunately, corporate boards are increasingly struggling due to digitalization, and it is predicted that artificial intelligence [Al], and the "big data" on which Al is based, will become one of the most challenging board issues in the next ten years. There is currently limited research and guidance on how corporate boards should respond to this challenge. This book, AI Leadership for Boards - The Future of Corporate Governance, offers to fill this gap. It presents the initial findings of a two-year study based on secondary material and interviews with leading global experts in corporate governance and Al as well as with chairmen, board directors, and top management in some of Sweden's largest multinationals.
