400 Gbps Net Bitrate Optical-Amplification-Free TFLN-based PAM4 Link Enabled by BU-LSTM Equalization

We use BU-LSTM equalization to demonstrate optical-amplification-free 400 Gbps net bitrate PAM4link in O-band with TFLN-based MZM. BER below 6.25% overhead HD-FEC threshold for B2B and 500 m SMF transmission is achieved.
