LEADING A DESIGN, BUILD AND TEST COURSE
Rapport, 2006

Once I was reading a cookery book written by a fascinating chef who as his trademark never writes exact measures of the ingredients used in his recipes. As he claims, a cookery book should be for inspiration. It should be read off the kitchen, maybe in your living room, maybe on the lawn or maybe even in the train on your way to work. Then when you have the inspiration you can find the needed ingredients and mix them in the quantity you want. Some days it takes a bit of sugar, some days a bit of salt and others a pinch of chili to spice things up. As with the cookery book this work is not made in order to give the only truth to guide or lead a design, build and test project. These are just the words and ideas of a humble PhD student who have had the pleasure to manage a few of such projects. My hopes are that you will use these as inspiration to find your unique way to guide your project. Good luck and enjoy!
