Future directions: Nanoplasmonic sensing tomorrow
Kapitel i bok, 2012

Nanoplasmonic sensors have made an impressive progress from the conceptual idea to the working devices just in about one decade. It is apparent now that the promises of this technology-high sensitivity, compactness, readily available multiplexing capabilities-can be realized and implemented in a large number of areas, both in research settings and in prototype or even consumer devices. The research interest to the field is also strong-just recently a series of articles appeared that overviewed the current development of the research in nanoplasmonic sensors [1-4]. So, where do we go from here?
