Proposing a Procedure for Linking Different Companies’ Overarching Superstructures and Materials Flow Systems to the Technical and Social Dimensions of the Shop Floor Work: Constructive co-operation procedures between practitioners and researchers Overarching Superstructures
Preprint, 2002

A sort of summarization of the two authors scientific methods used to combined methods to analyse production systems (of combined data, collections of company data, interviews, questionnaire surveys, video-registration, etc.). As these methods were developed until this very point in time. For example, this has been carried out by means of constructions so-called schematised layouts (a more general function if the production system in question).

Therefore, note that by means of this specific method to organize questionnaire surveys (including complementary data collection) it is feasible to couple (softer) questionnaire data to (harder) technical data (i.e. the operators perception of work and work conditions to parameters like product flow patterns and buffer functions and positions) (see some of the authours' other publications).
