Tarik Abdulahovic is working as Assistant Professor in several projects related to large offshore DC wind farms. The research involves meshed DC grid design, different generator and converter topology designs and studies, as well as high frequency transformer design. He is specialist in very fast transients in power systems, and his interests are power electronics, electrical machines and power transformers. He is a member of Cigré working group WG A2-C4 Electrical transient interaction between transformers and power systems.
