Development of sea-based wind parks and high voltage grids using direct current

‚ÄčThe project deals with design of different components of DC offshore wind farms. The aim of the project is to design the DC grid, generators, DC-DC converters as well as high frequency transformers. There is a huge potential for DC offshore wind farms in North Sea that are connected to DC links between the UK, Norway, Netherlands and Denmark.
