Andreas Eriksson

Associate Professor at Language and Communication

I head a division that has extensive experience of integrating communication on programmes at Chalmers. We use an integrated or embedded apporoach, which means that a great deal of our teaching on programme level is planned and taught in collaboriaton with teachers from other disciplines. The unit also has long experience of doing research on various aspects of academic writing and communication.

RESEARCH
My own research interests are feedback and peer response, collaborative writing, academic literacies and integrating content and language (ICL).

TEACHING
I am involved in teaching at all levels. I have for a long time been involved in the teaching of our courses for PhD students. I am responsible for the integration of communication at the five-year programme of mechanical engineering (TKMAS).
