My research is about gearboxes optimization, using CFD simulation tools. The optimization of gearboxes is important for avoiding losses by oil splashing while keeping at the same time the cooling of the gears. I am also interested in heat transfer for industrial applications such as electrical generators and boundary layers over rough surfaces and rotating disks. CFD simulations and some experimental techniques such as torque measurements and the naphthalene sublimation are of interest to me.
