Linnea Hietala

Lecturer at Algebra and geometry

I am a PhD in mathematics. My research is within mathematical physics, more specifically within statistical mechanics and some lattice models, called the six-vertex model, the solid-on-solid model and the three-colour model, and the connections between these models and other models.

In my current position as a lecturer I have less time for research and more time for teaching. From January 1, 2024, I am the programme coordinator for Chalmers' masters programme in learning and leadership.
