Karin Sjöstrand

Karin Sjöstrand is an industrial doctoral student at the Division of Geology and Geotechnics, research group Environmental geology – land and water resources, at Chalmers, employed by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden. The aim with Karin’s research is to develop a holistic decision support system in order to secure a safe and secure regional water supply. The research is mainly directed at tools and models for decision support, such as socio-economic models, cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, sustainability analysis, multi‐criteria analysis and risk analysis.
