Konstantinos Konstantinidis
Konstantinos is a PhD student within the field of multiphase fluid dynamics. His research focuses on numerical simulations of drops at micro scale. More specifically, he aims to model the self-cleaning of superhydrophobic surfaces from dirt particles upon merging of drops that are attached on the surface. In micro scale the merged drop tends to jump away from the surface, removing the particles from it. By the characterization of such surfaces, the cleaning processes in heat-exchangers can be improved.
